Mayor-President Robideaux invites you to join him for his third annual parish-wide address the Robideaux Report, this Thursday, March 14, from 6-9 p.m. at the Heymann Center. The Robideaux Report is an event of Community Foundation of Acadiana and is FREE to attend.
“As an annual event, the Robideaux Report brings together citizens, business and civic leaders, and elected officials from across the parish. I look forward to a great evening as we review our successes, challenges, and a vision for the future. Following the presentation, the Showcase will celebrate just a few of the many aspects that make Lafayette Parish so special – including our food, music, art and recreation – and will feature important community stakeholders and emerging community partners. I invite citizens from across the parish to join in this free community event.” ~ Mayor-President Joel Robideaux
The event will feature two components: 6-7 p.m. – A Year-in-Review during which Mr. Robideaux will review the accomplishments and challenges from the last three years and share his perspective on opportunities that lie ahead. It has become somewhat of a tradition that he also unveil new initiatives to make government more transparent, customer service-oriented and efficient; 7-9 p.m. – A Community Showcase – featuring some of Lafayette Parish’s great community partners, restaurant purveyors, sights, sounds, unique cultural assets and ideas.
Through the generous support of businesses and individuals, this community-wide event is FREE to the public, offering the opportunity for all of Lafayette’s citizens to participate.
